Summer is near: the risks of sun exposure in the spring and how to prevent them

Spring is a season that brings with it a feeling of rebirth in nature. With the sun coming out the air becomes hotter and sweeter, and the smell of the flowers is everywhere. For us women this is a wonderful time to feel all the positive emotions that spring brings with it.

It is time to wear fun and colorful dresses, take long walks outside and enjoy the sun on our skin. Spring is inviting us to be a part of nature, to find inspiration in the beauty around us and to fill ourselves up with energy to take on life’s challenges. With sun on our skin and wind in our hair we can feel the joy of being alive and appreciate every gift that life offers us.

Springtime coming brings with it warmer temperatures and the will to be outside, but also bigger risks because of our exposure to the sun. Many of us in fact underestimate the dangers of tanning or being exposed to the sun without adequate protection during the season, but there are many ways to prepare.

E’ in primavera che la natura risveglia i sensi, l’aria aperta e il sole rinvigoriscono l’anima e infondono nuova vita nel cuore.

The risks of sun exposure in the spring

UV rays can cause sun damage, this is not only painful but also harmful for the skin’s health. Sunburns increase the risk of developing diseases. Even women with darker complexion or who do not burn easily are at risk of developing long term skin issues if exposed to the sun without adequate protection.

Sun exposure also accelerates skin ageing, leading to wrinkles, discoloration and loss of elasticity. This can be especially obvious on the skin of the face and hands, more often exposed to the sun.

Simple precautions

What are the precautions that can be taken to be protected from the sun in the springtime?

It is important to avoid prolonged exposure, even if the sun is nice and not too hot it could lead to sunburn of more sensitive skin.

Also, it is important to use a cream with a high protection factor (at least 30) especially on the body parts more exposed to the sun. Sunscreen should be applied at least 15-30 minutes before exposure to the sun and applied again during the day.

To conclude do not forget to hydrate during your nice day out

Integrate

In nature there are substances that if taken in the correct amount can be wonderful for our skin.

Supplements for beta-carotene and Q10 enzyme can offer many advantages while out in the sun in the spring. Beta-carotene is an antioxidant converted by the body into Vitamin A. This vitamin is essential for skin and eyes’ health. It also aids in protecting the skin from exposure to UV rays. Beta-carotene can also help in keeping a tan for longer periods of time, preventing the loss of that beautiful golden hue.

Q10 enzyme is an antioxidant naturally present in our body’s cells. During exposure to the sun Q10 helps to protect the skin from damages done by free radicals caused by UV rays. Q10 enzyme also helps in skin cell regeneration keeping the skin fresh and youthful.

Using beta-carotene and Q10 enzymes supplements can contribute to protecting the skin during sun exposure in the springtime, preventing damages done by UV rays and maintaining a tan for longer periods of time. It is however important to note that supplements are not a substitute for sunscreen and other precautions needed during sun exposure.

Conclusion

In conclusion sun exposure in the springtime can be nice and healthy if the right precautions are taken. Protecting the skin and eyes from the sun can help to prevent long term damages and enjoy the nice weather in a safe way.

How to choose the right hyaluronic acid

How many times have you looked at yourself in the mirror and wished to see a smoother and wrinkle-free skin?

La bellezza di una persona risiede nella sua unicità, e la pelle è lo specchio che riflette la sua storia.

Skin ageing is a natural process that happens to every single one of us, but we do not have accept our wrinkles as an inevitable consequence of the passage of time. Luckily hyaluronic acid is a potent ingredient aiding in reducing signs of ageing of the skin, giving you radiant and smooth skin.

I am Mrs Adorable and together we will explore how hyaluronic acid can help you obtain beautiful wrinkle-free skin and why you should include this ingredient in your skincare routine.

Hyaluronic acid is an excellent ingredient in skincare products. Its superpower is the ability to hydrate, plump and help with skin elasticity. Hyaluronic acid is used in a variety of different skincare products: from toners to serums and creams your skin will receive the hydration it needs to stay healthy and look its best.

You need to know that not all formulas containing hyaluronic acid are the same and choosing the right one makes all the difference in your skincare routine. Let’s see four features to help you choose the best product with hyaluronic acid to help with the look of your skin.

1 Molecular weight of hyaluronic acid

The molecular weight of the hyaluronic acid plays a key role in its effectiveness. Generally, a lower molecular weight is better absorbed through the skin, while the molecules with a higher weight stay on the surface. It is important to choose a hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights so that more than one layer of skin will absorb it.

2 Concentration of hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is essential in skincare products. Its concentration has a direct impact on the product’s effectiveness, with higher concentrations allowing for more hydrating and anti-ageing properties. A concentration of hyaluronic acid too high in a product can cause skin irritation and other adverse reactions. That is why it is important to select a product with the right amount of active ingredient to have the best possible results.

3 Product quality

It is important to choose a high quality product. Make sure to choose creams and serums from a company that uses high quality ingredients. Read the products reviews and look for positive feedbacks from clients.

4 Innovation

Research and development in the cosmetic field makes for new formulas. On the market there are cosmetics with 5 molecular weights of hyaluronic acid. This is more efficient than traditional cosmetics. The presence of 5 different molecular weights of hyaluronic acids allows for benefits to be seen in various skin layers.

In conclusion finding a hyaluronic acid best suited for one’s skin requires a bit of attention and research. However, investing in a top quality product with varying molecular weights, instead of one with a classic single molecular weight, will lead to more noticeable effects.

I’m Mrs Adorable, happy natural beauty to all of you.

Beta-carotene supplements: the secret to tanned and protected skin

Tanning is important for many people; it is seen as gratifying being sun-kissed skin and seeing a golden and radiant glow on your skin. Tanning can make us feel more attractive and confident making us look lively and generally healthy.

NOT ONLY SKIN DEEP

It is not only beauty related: tanning can also have a positive effect on one’s mood and health. Sunlight is an important source of vitamin D, helpful in maintaining healthy bones and muscles, helping with the mood and strengthening the immune system. Exposure to the sun also helps with the production of endorphins, “happiness’ neurotransmitters” that help us feel more relaxed, happy and at peace.

THE RISKS OF SUN EXPOSURE

It is, however, important to remember that tanning can be harmful if one does not take the necessary precautions. UV rays can cause irreparable damages to the skin, like wrinkles, discoloration, melanoma and other skin tumors. For this reason, it is necessary to protect the skin with high protection sunscreen, avoid direct exposure to the sun during the hottest time of the day and see a doctor for any suspicious signs appearing on the skin. With the right care it is possible to enjoy all the benefits of tanning without any health risk to achieve our natural beauty.

THE BENEFITS OF BETA-CAROTENE

Beta-carotene supplement is an important ally in preparing the skin for a nice tanning session. Beta-carotene is a plant pigment found in food like carrots, tomatoes, melons and spinach. Our body converts it into Vitamin A, beneficial for the skin’s health.

Specifically, beta-carotene acts as a natural antioxidant, aiding in protecting the skin from damages caused by free radicals. It also stimulates the production of melanin, the pigment that gives the skin its color, helping with an even and long lasting sunkissed complexion.

THE SUPPLEMENT’S ROLE

Taking beta-carotene supplements at least a month before going out in the sun can help in preparing the skin to be tanned, making it more resistant to damages caused by UV rays and preventing sunburns.

It is important to understand that a beta-carotene supplement does not substitute sunscreen but using them together is helpful for a healthy sun exposure. Remember to always protect yourself with sunscreen suitable for your skin type and avoid direct sun exposure during the hottest time of the day.

When we are healthy, and our body has all the nutrients it needs to function at its best out skin and face are radiant and have a beautiful light. Change in climate

Sadly, many factors contribute to our skin being dry and dull in the winter. Inside our houses, in stores and at the office having the heater on contributes to very dry air. Outside as well the wind and cold weather worsen even more the condition of our skin. However, one enemy is even worse, one that is often ignored, and is invisible: air pollution! In the winter, because of the weather being especially cold and humid, pollution is at an all-time high and our skin is subjected to it all day long.

Beauty routines

How relaxing is a nice warm shower after a cold winter day? The water being too hot and aggressive soaps however can strip the skin of its protective barrier causing dryness and irritation. Exfoliating products used in our beauty routines, great to thoroughly clean your skin can also damage the skin barrier leaving the skin irritated and dry. That is why it is important to be careful while using these products to maintain a healthy and glowy skin.

Lack of vitamins

As we all know the winter holidays are not a time for balanced eating, and we have all indulged in a tasty, but not very healthy, treat every once in a while! Food that is fattier and less nutritious, as well as a lack of available fresh fruit and veggies have the direct consequence of a lack of vitamins and minerals. Guess what happens then? Dry and dull skin of course! It is this lack of vitamins and minerals that can have a big impact on our skin making it irritated, dry, flakey and itchy. A diet poor of vitamins and essential minerals, like vitamins A, D, E and zinc can worsen these problems.
